public charter schools

  Although charter schools are public schools, they tend to be a much better choice for learners than traditional public schools. A charter school is defined as being a school that collects government financing while operating independently of the state school system in which it is based. This gives public charter schools the privilege of educating children in unique ways and bringing some fresh ideas to improve student engagement during learning. Charter schools have been around for nearly twenty years and have made it to most states. Growing at a rapid pace, about ten percent of children in these states are attending charter schools. Currently, the United States has over six thousand charter schools.
